The Clearly Contacts app provides reminders to contact lens wearers of when they should replace and reorder their contacts. I did the interaction design for this app to make the process of adding, checking, and receiving reminders both useful and usable. Idea Rebel did the subsequent visual design and development for this app.
Because I'm not a contact wearer myself, I started this project off by talking with some friends who wear contacts to understand how they remember to keep their stock supplied and how they remind themselves of when they need to switch lenses. These conversations informed my subsequent design work by helping to prioritize features.
With a better understanding of the needs of contact lens wearers, I created wireframes that documented the flow a user would go through as they used the app.
I designed the user flow to make the process of adding, editing, and reviewing reminders as intuitive and helpful as possible.
